Grizzly Bear Confirm Vicar St Date

Brooklyn based Warp Records signings Grizzly Bear will perform live at Dublin's Vicar Street this November.

The much hyped band supported Radiohead last summer on their North American tour, and are one of only a few non-electronic acts to be signed to Warp records.

The band employs traditional with electronic instruments, ranging from a recorder to a laptop, and all four members contribute vocals. Their sound is categorized as experimental folk rock with hints of psychedelic atmospherics, and is most dominated by the use of acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies.

Grizzly Bear made their Irish debut on a magical night in Whelan’s in May 2007 performing songs from their astounding 'Yellow House' album. The band have since followed up with their hugely ambitious, critically acclaimed third album 'Veckatimest' on Warp Records, which has entered the US Billboard Charts at a remarkable number 8.

Foggy Notions are proud to present the return of Grizzly Bear to Vicar Street on Sunday November 1st. Tickets are €25 (including booking fee) and go on sale Friday June 19th at 10am from Ticketmaster & the usual outlets nationwide.
