Forefather of funk George Clinton announces a return to Ireland for a one night only show at Tripod this July.
The legendary funk master, responsible for revolutionising R&B and soul music in the 1970s, brings with him a troupe of over 25 funk musicians, including 5 guitarists, promising a three and a half hour performance of the most mind-blowing and intoxicating funk grooves ever heard.
His latest release George Clinton and His Gangsters of Love is an assortment of funky covers featuring appearances by an all star cast of musical greats including Sly Stone, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, RZA, and gospel singer Kim Burrell.
