ST. PATRICKS DAY SPECTACULAR!!!!!
THE CHAKRAS
Led by brothers Rocky and Gordo Whittaker, but soul mates since their days at school, The Chakras were hell bent on writing music that evoked some sort of reaction. Raised on a diet of Storm In Heaven era Verve self-belief, and Jesus and Mary Chain’s wanton fuzz, the band took an early hazy blueprint of how they wanted to sound and immediately removed anything that might interfere with their creating of it. They resigned from the day-jobs, moved to London, signed to Planet Function Records and have here made a record that took those noisy, hissing 8-track bedroom demos and transformed the very same songs into swirling, guitar-heavy anthems.
Introduced in late 2010 with the skyscraping ‘Build Me A Swan’ single on limited 7”, The Chakras’ work with producer Jaz Rogers and mixer Chris Potter (Urban Hymns) has given the band a freedom to reference those immediate shoegaze influences, but not mask the melodies with too much unnecessary noise.
"Doves-esque soaring melodies" The Times
"Epic, swirling psychedelia that recalls Richard Ashcroft's gang at their peak." Q Magazine

THE WHOLLS
THE WHOLLS - a 4 piece band based in Bedford, England - have been starting to make a noise in the music scene over recent months with a fresh brand of music of their very own. Coined 'Urban Indie', if you get the chance to see them perform you can expect a lively, hectic night and a set of original bangers with a few surprises chucked in - a typical set hinting at influences from rock n roll to garage and grime. Live favourites such as ‘Rollin’, ‘No.30’ and ‘B-Man’ are already fast becoming a cult smash and reasons alone to check them out....
THE WHOLLS have gone from strength to strength since being plucked from the obscurity of rehearsing in a garden shed in the early months of 2011 and have now gone full time with the aid of sponsorship from Primo High Revs energy drink, enabling them to build their own rehearsal space and take on an active gigging schedule.
By the end of 2011 THE WHOLLS had fulfilled their ambition to headline Bedford’s legendary venue Esquires to a sell out crowd with over 50 ‘Spartans’ (as their fans have become collectively known) having to be turned away. They followed this up with victory in the final of the battle of the bands competition at the Horn in St. Albans, taking over 60 acts from all over the country. Since the win they have made some great links and the coming months look set to be a very exciting time for the Bedford outfit...

BEN CARRIGAN (THE THRILLS)
"Ben Carrigan is a founding member of multi-platinum selling and award winning Irish pop group 'The Thrills.' The band celebrates 3 top 10 albums and 7 top 40 singles. They have also toured extensively worldwide and collaborated with some of the finest musicians on the planet.
Ben's most recent project is a new album entitled "The Greatest Narrators". The album was written, arranged, recorded and mixed by Ben himself with some additional guest performances from some of London and Dublin's finest musicians. It comprises a collection of beautifully crafted pop songs influenced by the likes of Carole King and Tom Waits but with the heady arrangements of Scott Walker. These songs are interwoven with a mix of stunning instrumental scores, soaring strings and a filmic sensibility. For the first time, "The Greatest Narrators" celebrates Ben's fortitudes as a composer in the popular realm in his own right, as a multi-instrumentalist and as a solo artist. The album is available now on iTunes and is set for an official UK release in 2012.

DAVID J ALEXANDER
David J. Alexander was born and raised in Belfast but has now made West London his adopted home. His songs are reflections and observations on youth, fear, curiosity, hedonism and heartache.
He has previously toured with KT Tunstall and opened for The Magic Numbers. In March 2009 he started 'Songs From A Room' (Sofarsounds.com) as a way for his music to be heard live, unplugged in the most intimate setting possible. These unique shows have turned into a global movement and occur monthly in the secret setting of packed living rooms worldwide. The Sofar movement has regular shows in London Paris, New York, L.A., Mumbai, Sydney and beyond.
Despite only playing his first gig last year, and still yet to release a record, he has managed to sell-out two London headline shows at The Barfly and Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen in the last 12 months.
